Who I am
My name is Ama Udofa, and I’m a chatterbox who makes a living from telling stories in several formats. Over the past 7 years, I’ve led content marketing, strategy, and comms for brands across the world in different industries, from literature to food-tech, non-profit to fashion, fintech to media, SaaS, and more.
I’m a restless and ambitious creative the downside of this is, I often take on more than I can handle.

Why I’m hiring for this Role
Right now I’m working full-time as a content marketer and brand manager in fintech while also consulting for startups, running this blog, writing a fast-growing culture newsletter, and creating unique food videos on the internet. It’s a shit ton of work and I need some assistance.
I’m looking for a part-time content marketing assistant to take up some of my hands-on tasks. These will include researching and writing copy for articles, social media, videos, and marketing campaigns, assisting me with audience research — basically helping me with storytelling across exciting projects.
If you can work with a style guide, write conversational and error-free articles, insist on excellent work, and meet deadlines without being chased with a Koboko, I’d love to speak with you.
If you are both strategic and detail-oriented, can punctuate effectively, love em dashes, and know how to use an Oxford comma where they (rightfully!) belong, then where have you been all my life?
You’ve ideally helped scale SaaS brands into content powerhouses before, and are excited to apply your experience, and knowledge to keep me from burning out.
Lastly, you’re a mid-career professional with at least 3 years of clear and trackable experience, probably already have a full-time job or freelance engagement, and could use some extra income on the side. Please apply using the link below.

Base pay: N150k monthly, possibility of review after 3 months*, and an opportunity to hone your writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
